Coming up next month is our 'commit to sit' challenge – encouraging each other try to meditate every day for the month of June! In preparation, it's a great idea to get a few more meditation techniques under your belt.
On Wednesday evening we'll be learning open awareness meditation as taught by Winton Higgins, a teacher of insight meditation since 1995. Open awareness meditation is a great technique if you feel that your practice is getting too mechanical or lifeless.
Doors open from 7.15pm with practice starting from 7.30pm. For those who haven't come along before we're in the room on the right in the Friends Centre (it looks down Moncrieff street).
