Join us for our weekly Wednesday meditation. This session will start with a concentration meditation, using the breath as an anchor point. This mindfulness of breath meditation is an excellent antidote to stress and is suitable for meditators of all levels of experience.
The second meditation of the evening will be a guided gratitude meditation, using visualisation to help identify and give thanks for the good in our lives. Gratitude meditation is an ancient practice that has been endorsed by modern science as leading to increased wellbeing and happiness. After each meditation there will be an opportunity to discuss your experiences of the meditation with the group. The session will be facilitated by Julia Wells.
Doors open at 7:15pm, we start at 7:30, and our evening together ends with tea and biscuits. No registration is needed for this event – simply turn up. Please note that there is no fixed fee for this event, but dana (donations) are gratefully accepted.
