When we think of meditation, we generally think of the mind - and practices that involve attending to our thoughts. We can forget that one of the four foundations of mindfulness the Buddha taught is mindfulness of the body.
In this One Mindful Breath session we'll be exploring the crucial role of the body in our meditation practice. We'll consider the connection between our emotions and body sensations with reference to both modern psychotherapy and the writings of meditation teacher S.N Goenka. We'll also practice a guided body scanning meditation.
