Holding thoughts lightly

  • Wellington Friends’ Centre 7 Moncrieff Street Mount Victoria Wellington (map)

Zooming in from Kamas, Utah, Noah Rasheta will speak on holding views lightly, and his no-nonsense journey out of the Mormon faith.

Host of the podcast ‘Secular Buddhism’, Noah teaches mindfulness and Buddhist philosophy online and has run workshops in the USA, Uganda, Germany, Spain, Mexico and the UK.

A self-published author, he continually strives to work with others to make the world a better place as he studies, embodies and teaches the fundamentals of Buddhist philosophy – integrating Buddhist teachings + modern science + humanism + humour.

In May 2017, he graduated as Lay Buddhist Minister, Noah Ma-yo Rasheta, at the Bright Dawn Way of Oneness Buddhism Center in Coarsegold, California. Noah lives in Kamas, Utah, USA with his wife and three children.
