Study session – ‘Secular’ Buddhism, why not just ‘Buddhism’?

  • Wellington Friends’ Centre 7 Moncrieff Street Mt Victoria Wellington (map)

Why do we meditate? ‘We’re doing it for the here and now, not for the hereafter,’ according to Pete Cowley. So, what is a secular Buddhist meditation space, and why don’t we simply offer a Buddhist space? Come along and find out.

Led by Derek LeDayn and Ramsey Margolis, please bring your observations and questions, and be ready to offer your thoughts on questions from others.

The evening will start with a meditation session. You’re welcome to bring a notebook and pen/cil to journal your meditation session, and take notes on the discussion.
