The secular Buddha – what it means to be radicalised
Regularly practicing mindfulness is like a gift we give ourselves
And it’s just so simple
To get even more benefit from our meditation practice, a serious examination of the Buddha’s teachings is also worthwhile.
In this study group session, we’re going to discuss a recorded talk by the British secular Buddhist teacher and writer, Stephen Batchelor, titled The secular Buddha – what it means to be radicalised. You can download the talk and listen to it beforehand here.
The discussion will be followed by afternoon tea, so please bring something to eat and drink to share.
Find out more about this Saturday afternoon event by downloading a flyer here and let us know you’ll be coming on the Meetup group page – Simply Meditation Secular Mindfulness Saturdays. Or just turn up, on your own or with friends.
